These are the most typical vegetables in this season. Mind they have different names in American and British English:
AE BE
eggplant aubergine
pumpkin (Native of America)
squash marrow
zucchini courgette

We made pumpkin bread and it was a fantastic idea!!!
It´s very easy. But we had a little problem...
When we were mixing the ingredients and we had to added the allspice... we had no idea about this spice!!!
We looked for allspice in a supermarket and we didn´t found it.
Then we looked on the Internet what was allspice: Allspice is a spice from Jamiaca, with a similar flavor of cinnamon, nutmeg, black pepper,... so it is named all spice.
Ok. We added black pepper to the mixture and baked the pumpkin bread.
It was delicious!!! And... a little spicy!!!
Maybe we´ll not add black pepper next time...
We are already planning to make pumpkin bread again next weekend!!!!
